9 Guildford Rowing Club members joined 3,655 rowers from 51 countries at the World Masters Regatta in Brandenburg, Germany . A full race schedule saw Guildford compete in 12 events with the best masters rowing clubs in the world. Club Member News: John Knight We are sad to announce the death of John Knight, on the 28th February at the grand age of 86 years old. John was a valued member of the club for over 40 years. Latterly he rowed with the GRC Vets on a Tuesday morning, enjoying their company and memories.
Guildford Rowing Club is sad to announce the death of John Noble on Thursday 10 June 2021, at the age of 80. John had been a successful cox at school and later as part of Vesta and Tideway Scullers. John also held the record for the Head of River Race for many years. John joined the Guildford about 15 years ago,
