Racing - Eyes on the prize!
We love racing and support a broad range of opportunities for members to get involved in local or national events, from 3km head races to 500m sprinting regattas.
Whether you’re an experienced and dedicated racer in it to win it, or you just want a chance to benchmark or stretch yourself, you’ll find other members (literally) in the same boat!
From the youngest juniors embarking on novice regatta campaigns, right up to the interestingly named “veterans”, our fantastic coaches are brilliant at helping you train, giving you the skills and confidence to get racing.
Our fleet of boats include adaptive, singles, doubles, quads Coxed and uncoxed, as well a sweep boats – pairs, fours and eights. The eight usually trains on a larger stretch of river on The Thames.
